Oneview Healthcare and Samsung SDS America announce Distribution Agreement

Oneview Healthcare and Samsung SDS America announce a Distribution Agreement to offer SaaS digital care solutions in North America

Dublin, Ireland — February 1st, 2021 — Oneview Healthcare (ASX.ONE), a global healthcare technology company has signed a Distribution Agreement with Samsung SDS America, Inc. (Samsung SDSA), the enterprise IT solutions provider of Samsung, to offer a bundled solution for bedside digital services for patients in the United States.

The Agreement will initially enable Samsung SDSA to distribute Oneview’s Cloud Start product to healthcare-focused enterprise resellers, commencing in February 2021. Cloud Start, which can be rapidly deployed to support COVID-19 response or as a platform for bedside digital services, runs exclusively on Samsung tablets. Bundling Cloud Start will make it simple for end-customers to get started with Oneview’s Care Experience Platform, streamlining the procurement and implementation process.

Oneview’s Cloud Start is a proven technology deployed across 4 world-class hospitals in New York at the height of the COVID crisis. The solution enables the secure reliable and scalable delivery of apps and digital services at patient bedside, including virtual rounding, virtual visitation and virtual translation. For end-customers requiring more advanced features and integrations, there is an upgrade path to the Cloud Enterprise tier with additional features such as personalized education delivery, meal ordering and patient service requests, to provide better control and quality of care for both patients and care providers.

James Fitter, Oneview CEO, commented “Our move to the cloud accelerates speed to market and opens new possibilities for distribution, making it faster, easier and lower-cost for end-customers to benefit from the digital platform at the bedside. Never has this need been so apparent. Our partnership with Samsung provides a unique opportunity to address new virtual models of care and provide the solution for Samsung SDSA to enhance the value proposition for their reseller network.”

“With the US health system focused on continually improving the patient care experience, Samsung SDSA is committed to providing mobile-focused solutions to help serve our customers,” said Mingu Lee, Chief Business Officer and Senior Vice President, Samsung SDS America. “Our distribution partnership with Oneview Healthcare enables us to deliver a more cost-effective and impactful solution, allowing caregivers to work efficiently while providing a connected experience for patients.”
