Oneview Healthcare PLC (“Oneview”) (ASX:ONE) the Australian-listed Irish healthcare company, today announced that University Hospitals (UH) of Cleveland will deploy its interactive patient engagement and clinical workflow solution at UH Cleveland Medical Center, UH Seidman Cancer Center, UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, UH Ahuja Medical Center, UH Geauga Medical Center and UH Richmond Medical Center to help improve the patient experience across its not-for-profit health system.

For patients and their families, the Oneview platform delivers an immersive bedside experience that activates and engages them in their care. The Oneview solution leverages modern technologies like IPTV streaming entertainment services with an intuitive user interface to provide patients with real-time information about their treatments and conditions. The Oneview platform provides point-of-care access to IT systems through a variety of end-user devices, including bedside terminal, TV, tablet and smartphone.

For administrators, the flexible, open architecture lets them leverage existing infrastructure and consolidate functions so they can maximize value from existing investments. It combines clinical data from EHR vendors such as Allscripts, with data from systems providing nurse call, alert management, building management, real-time location services and more to enable hospitals to improve patient engagement, clinical workflows and communication.

“University Hospitals is committed to continually advancing innovation in health care,” said Thomas F. Zenty III, Chief Executive Officer, University Hospitals. “Oneview helps us engage our patients in their wellness by streamlining and simplifying their access to information about their care. We believe that patients who are informed and active in their healthcare achieve better outcomes.”

“We are delighted to embark on this new partnership with UH,” said Mark McCloskey, Founder of Oneview. “Their foresight regarding the importance of patient experience now and in the future, is testament to their commitment to outstanding care and service. We are honored to be part of the futuristic long-term vision UH is beginning to build today.”
