University of Iowa Selects Oneview’s Patient Engagement Technology for New Children’s Hospital


Iowa’s only academic medical center will join Oneview Healthcare’s global client community to enhance the experience of patients.

Dublin, Ireland, January 26, 2016Oneview Healthcare, a global leader and innovator in next-generation patient engagement solutions, announced today that University of Iowa Health Care has contracted with Oneview to support its patient experience initiatives.

Under the terms of this multi-year agreement, UI Health Care staff will implement the Oneview platform across the newly constructed state-of-the-art University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, anticipated to open in December 2016.

UI Health Care will implement Oneview’s Core Platform and Patient Experience, Workflow, and Communication Feature Packs. Through integration with UI Health Care’s current enterprise-wide Electronic Medical Record, Oneview Healthcare creates a personalized experience for patients. Oneview will provide UI’s patients with an easy-to-use bedside touchscreen tablet, encouraging active collaboration with their clinicians on education and goals, and direct communication with their care teams.
