As the temperature drops and the leaves turn, innovation at Oneview keeps gathering pace. We’ve wrapped our third Product Quarterly Update of 2025—another step toward our mission to improve connected care experiences, every day. Here’s a look at what’s new, what’s next, and a glimpse into the future of the smart patient room.
A Class-Leading Entertainment Experience: Movies-on-Demand & TV Guide
We also previewed a new Movies-on-Demand experience alongside an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) for live TV, both designed to deliver a cinematic, easy-to-navigate experience at the bedside. Patients can now browse, search, and jump back into what they love with minimal friction, whether they are using a pillow speaker or a tablet.
Navigation is faster and friendlier, working beautifully on both large screens and tablet devices. Controls are accessible and clearly labelled, tuned specifically for the hospital setting. The experience is seamless across TV and tablet, so families can share entertainment or choose their own. In hospital, entertainment is more than a distraction; it’s a comfort, a way to pass time, and often a welcome sense of normal. We’re making it effortless.
Smarter, Simpler Meal Ordering
Meal ordering remains one of the most used features in our platform. Building on the redesigned Meal Ordering app, we showcased AI-powered meal recommendations that help patients choose quickly and confidently, guided by dietary rules, preferences, and past selections.
Patients and teams can expect personalized suggestions that respect dietary restrictions and allergies. Choices are streamlined, which reduces order errors and unnecessary back-and-forth. The process means less time spent on the phone and more time focused on care. The result is fewer clicks for patients, fewer interruptions for staff, and consistently better mealtime experiences.
From Dashboards to Decisions: Progress on Our Data Platform
Throughout the quarter, our data work focused on one theme: turning data into decisions. We advanced our cloud Data Platform with greater automation and standardization, and continued the shift from static views to actionable insight.
We can now provide user-flow analytics that show where patients succeed and where they stall, so teams can remove friction. Early engagement scoring concepts are helping to spotlight units or cohorts that need attention. Patient clustering, based on characteristics and usage patterns, is informing content, language support, and service design. For customers, this means faster answers, clearer ROI stories, and data that shows where to act next – not just what happened.
What’s Next
We continue to work on our next-generation MyStay experience, which is intuitive, accessible, and intelligent by design.
And watch this space: Ovie’s intelligence will soon extend to voice, staff insights, and guided rounding – making every room smarter, every interaction more personal, and every outcome more measurable.
We’re excited to keep pushing forward – empowering patients, supporting care teams, and delivering measurable value for health systems around the world. Stay tuned – there’s more to come.
