Oneview Holdings Limited Raises Fresh Equity and Appoints New Non-Executive Directors


19th January, 2016, Dublin, Ireland. Oneview Holdings Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Petre and Mr. Mark Cullen to its board of directors. The appointments follow the successful completion of a fresh €12 million capital raising which closed in December 2015.

Daniel Petre has been a leading player in Australia’s technology industry for more than 30 years and has held leadership positions in technology-based businesses including nine years with Microsoft Corporation, where he served as Vice President of the Workgroup Division, Director of Advanced Technology, Director of the Asia Pacific Region and initially as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.

As Director of Advanced Technology, Daniel was part of a global team responsible for developing Microsoft’s services in the areas of multimedia development, online services and interactive television. He was the first non-American to lead a product group at Microsoft.

Over the past 15 years he has, through the Petre Foundation, been a leading advocate for philanthropy in Australia. The Petre Foundation was established in 1999 and since that time it has donated more than $10m. He is the author of four books, one dealing with the impact of the internet on Australia and three on the roles of fathers in their children’s development and work/family balance.

Daniel has spent the last 18 years in Venture Capital and is currently the co-founder of AirTree Ventures, a growth stage Venture Capital firm based in Sydney, Australia which closed its first fund in 2014. This fund follows on from Daniel’s previously successful investment vehicles Netus and before that, Ecorp.

Daniel holds a BSc with majors in Computer Science and Statistics from UNSW and an MBA from the University of Sydney. Daniel was made an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to Australia.

Mark Cullen has enjoyed a distinguished career at Deutsche Bank for over 25 years and is currently the Global Head of Group Audit for Deutsche Bank AG where he is responsible for the global audit function comprising over 600 Business and IT Audit specialists, operating from New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and 25 other countries across the globe. Mark is Chair of the Group Audit Executive Committee and non-voting member of Deutsche Bank’s Group Investigation Oversight Committee (GIOC).

Mark has held a range of senior management positions at Deutsche Bank including Global Head of Emerging Market Equities, Global Chief Operating Officer Global Equities and Deutsche Asset Management and most recently was responsible for the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and Corporate Security and Business Continuity (CSBC). Additionally he served as the Chairman of the Global Regulatory Oversight Committee, Vice Chairman Group Resiliency Committee, Vice Chairman Group Information Security Committee and a member of the Group Audit Findings Closure Committee (AFCC) and Group Operating Committee (GOC).
